New School Year 2012

I haven't blogged in years!! But I decided I wanted to post a response to Shawna's subbie giveaway on Youtube. I tried filming a video but I could not do it without tripping over my words--kudos to the ladies who do it regularly!

This was a layout (based on a sketch I saw online) I did showing my kids on the first day of school this past September.  I used the Everyday Eclectic collection. Shawna asked us to use 3 of her favorite things and I used a heart wood veneer, washi tape, a badge and some Thickers.  I have yet to fill in my journaling but here goes:

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas 2008

It was a great Christmas.
For the first time, we had matching pjs.
We spent the day just playing games the kids got...it was such a relaxing day.

Gift Card Holders

I love how these came out...I was planning on doing more of them, but just ran out of time.

These cards are based on Susan's sketches from her Card Sketch a Day Blog
The inside of the card is a gift card holder based on this tutorial Hero Arts Blog

Advent Wreath

I helped organize an Advent Wreath Making workshop at my church 3 weeks ago.
I'm so happy with the way it came out and wasn't that difficult to make.

Star Bright Necklace

Here's a necklace I made out of onyx, freshwater pearls and some crystals.
I'm selling this one, if anyone is interested.

New Beginnings

My babies started school last Thursday and this Monday. Matthew is in 2nd grade and Eliana is in pre-school. I can't help thinking how fast these years are going. Matthew already wants to walk by himself to school --absolutely not! I'm not ready to let him go just yet. Here are a couple of LOs documenting the first day of school:

I finally Scrapped!

Here's a page a did for a TSR challenge:
I find that it is taking me too long to make just one layout. It took me forever to finish this.
Hopefully, the mojo will stay around for a while.
